Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long is a Sunday service?
A: The vast majority of services are typically an hour or less. Services that include a Baptism will run a little over an hour while high holidays (i.e. Christmas Eve and Easter) may run up to 90 minutes.

Q: What service type is best for my family?
A: In general, families with children prefer the 9:00 Contemporary service with more modern music and dismissal for Sunday School at 9:45...but it all depends on what works best for your family!

Q: How should I dress for a worship service?
A: Whatever is most comfortable for you! We have folks who wear their "Sunday best" and others who wear jeans and their favorite sports jersey on game day. God is simply happy to have you in His house and so are we.

Q: How do I follow along with the service?
A: Bulletins are handed out as people enter the sanctuary by our ushers/greeters. If the service has already started, they are on a table in the Narthex (entrance space to the Sanctuary). Ushers/greeters are also seated right inside the sanctuary by the Narthex doors.

Q: Do I have to take Communion?
A: All are welcome at God's holy table, but it is optional. If you are not comfortable or ready to take Communion, you can come forward to receive a blessing instead or remain in your seat.
